Aaron Dutton sermons, 1790-1841.

Manuscripts of sermons given by Dutton in the New Haven area (including Branford, Guilford, East Haven, New Haven, North Haven, and West Haven) and elsewhere. The sermons were numbered by Dutton in a chronological sequence and labeled with the date and place (many sermons have more than one date and place). Also in the collection are various other manuscripts, including "Pres. Dwight. Remarks on Rhetoric Reported by Aaron Dutton", 1803; "A system of shorthand"; "An Index of Sermons"; a legal document licensing Dutton to preach in Litchfield county, 1805; a memorandum in which the First Ecclesiastical Society in Guilford hired Dutton as a pastor, 1806; and an account book, 1800-03.
